Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€™m Mark,
an engineer-minded product builder with an eye for design, systems, and the little details.

Builder: I design and help ship products and tools on top of complex systems and data.

Bridge: I sit between founders, engineers, data, and and the people closest to your customers so everyone works from the same picture.

Craft: I care about the system under the hood and the experience on the surface so people trust and use what we ship.

Capabilities

Where Iโ€™m most useful.

Most of my work falls into a few patterns. If you see yourself in one of these, we should talk.

Product Strategy & Leadership

When you need a fractional product partner to align founders, product, and go-to-market teams, I help clarify the bets, decide where automation or AI actually belongs, and drive tricky products from idea to adoption.

Product UX & Delivery

When you have fuzzy product ideas, I define the objects, states, and flows so we can ship a clear first version. From onboarding and customer touchpoints to using vibe-coded and Figma prototypes to test the experience before we commit.

Data & Insights

When you have data but no clarity, I shape the metrics, reporting, and AI-assisted analysis to answer what's going on and if it's working for product, growth, support, and leadership.

Workflows & Tools

When your teams runs on hacks and scattered tools, I design and refine the underlying workflows and internal tools for ops, support, and success, so the day-to-day work gets done with less friction.

Paced Complexity

So people can start simple, build trust, and grow into the power of the product without feeling overwhelmed.

Trustworthy Metrics

Numbers that line up with how the business actually works so people believe them.

Clear Object Models

So teams are talking about the same things in the same way, with honest naming that matches how people think and work.

Calm, Legible Interfaces

Especially when the system and data underneath are messy or intense.

States & Edge Cases

Because most of the pain lives in error states, empty states, and weird paths along the decision flow.

Hidden Humans

Surfacing and reducing the manual glue work that keeps systems "working", often carried by support, ops, and community teams.

Working Together

How I usually plug in.

Every team and product is different, but most projects follow a simple approach.

Working Together

How I usually plug in.

Every team and product is different, but most projects follow a simple approach.

Start where it hurts

It starts with what hurts and what you are trying to achieve. You walk me through the product, site, or tool, and I talk with a few users or people close to the work so I can map the current flows, content, and constraints and we agree on what problem we are really solving.

Shape and prototype

Next, I turn that understanding into clear structures and directions. That might look like user flows, interface designs, system diagrams, or vibe-coded prototypes, always at the right level of fidelity so we can react to something concrete and make decisions together.

Build, instrument, refine

Once we like a direction, I stay involved through the first versions. I work with your team to get it built, add enough measurement and feedback to learn from it, and then refine based on how real people actually use it, going beyond just the day it goes live.

โ€œFull of creative enthusiasm โ€” always connects the dots between the work at hand and the unceasing exploration of new tech, new ideas, new tools, and new people.โ€
